When handing off extracted PDF text, include the source filename, page count, extraction method, and known limitations. Say whether tables, page order, links, and OCR output were checked against the original. Keep page references beside important passages so the next person can inspect the rendered source. Do not silently smooth over missing characters or uncertain reading order. A clean handoff separates verified text from areas that need manual review.
