Moving a report deadline can change how complete the week’s data is. Confirm the new cutoff, data-refresh schedule, and time needed for reconciliation. If the report must go out earlier, label preliminary figures and state when final numbers will follow; do not silently compare partial-week data with a full prior week.
Assign an owner for extraction, review, and publication. Keep the same metric definitions unless a change is explicitly documented. If the deadline moves later, use the extra time to verify late-arriving records and reconcile anomalies. Tell readers both the reporting period and the data-as-of time so they can interpret changes correctly.
